Biography

Native to North Carolina by way of San Diego California, Katrina Jeen is an award winning actress and published model.  Though her success did not come easy, this single mother of two girls found a way to balance owning and operating her jewelry company while keeping one eye set on her pursuit of the arts.

        It was in 2007 when Katrina shifted her life by moving to North Carolina from California. Two years after adjusting to life in the south the opportunity that had, for so long, eluded her having finally come, in the form of  a music video for a young artist on the rise.  Being in front of the camera became natural for Katrina, opening the doors to the world of modeling where she quickly flourished. Before long Katrina became one of the more recognizable faces in the Triad Area, swifty securing her spot in the independent arts arena. Modeling rapidly became the stepping stone to her acting career. It started as a simple suggestion ‘why don't you try acting’ her poise and credence began to land her acting roles in short films. She instantly fell in love with acting and began her journey to learn and study the craft. Only three years after the birth of her acting career in 2010, Katrina was entrusted with her lead role in a feature film ‘All That Matters’. Katrina’s heart wrenching performance of a troubled young female, captipuled her on the short list of a number local directors. Staring in multiple web series and films, Katrina’s hard work paid off in 2018 when she was awarded Featured Highlights Actress of the Year. She also launched her jewelry line “Soulfidence” featuring pieces designed and handmade by Katrina! Since then Katrina has partnered with Ye Are Gods Productions and has now begun to explore the film through the directors chair. Humbly navigating through independent cinema, Katrina’s upcoming projects stand to her working deep into future.
